I keep listening to this song as it is so powerful; some say it may contain derogatory words, but is that different than the derogatory actions you see take place everyday by haters, vindictive, cruel people and corrupt government officials like Susana Martinez. This song is powerful because you dont just have to be african american to think of the segregation and discrimination you witness everyday in America today. You can be African American, White, Native American, Hispanic, Asian and the list goes on an on, but also a disabled person and even a veteran who fought for this country and be discriminated and segregated right here in New Mexico. I have my own stories of segregation and discrimination: October 18, 2013 I was arrested by a APD officer after leaving the Dirty Bourbon for what he claimed was reklace driving on private property. I was not only arrested, but also surrounded by 4 APD officers as I drove my Porsche that night and pulled over by officer Justin something from the NE Command at that time. So four APD officers surround me that night and arrest me for what most would receive a citation for. Complete abuse of power as he pulled me over initially thinking he had a drunk driver coming from the bar. Any one who knows me, knows I dont drink and I dont have much tolerance for drunk drivers. It was amazing to see the abuse of power that night. It can happen to anyone and any race or color; the officer stated that He was arresting me because he didnt like my attitude ; well who would when you pull me over and claim I was drinking and then say I was recklace driving in the parking lot to cover you falls acquisition. I respect police officers as they have a hard job; but not those who abuse their power. I spent 9 months in the court system to get the case dismissed as the officer was out of line and couldnt even prosecute because of a city ordinance for private property. All while a girl named Sarah A Median (Bogert) or what ever poor guy is getting screwed over by her now used my Business account to call in payments to her capital one card as she charged it up and payed it off many times in a 4 month time span and admitted to doing it in writing. This girl was facing a 3rd Degree Felony as she admitted to it and never was arrested or given a bond. She never even showed up in court and it was over in 2 months as she was put in a first time offenders program as I spent 9 month in the judicial system for a traffic violation, got arrested, bond and then it got dropped. This song talks about the lop sided judicial system. She also wrote many forges checks on my Business and people ask why are you so mad? Why have you not turned it in? Well Would APD actually arrested her and her for writing 7 or more forges checks since in Sandoval County she got a slap on the wrist??? Would she actually have to pay a consequence for her pre meditated intentional actions? This song is powerful and I like brings allot of truth to the not so just justice system especially in New Mexico. You do have to give the police credit and see that they know if they arrest some one the justice system is so flawed that the judges are weak and the district attorneys are weak and just collect a government paycheck every two weeks from our tax dollars. Its not the police officers fault its the justice system that has no back bone and is very lopsided. This girl Sarah A Median (Bogert) already admitted to a crime of moral turpitude for the credit card issue so it would not take much to believe the forged check are real for her own personal use with my signature in her hand writing. Lastly he talks about teachers not getting paid enough in this song .... I AGREE!!!
