I keep looking back... Forward scares me..... Back is safe.Warm summer nights..Doin what we do.. lugging our wood and lugging our water. simple basic needs most take for granted,, We had to work for that warmth,...And work harder for that bath... I really do think it made us a strong bunch.. and we appreciate more now then ever what we have.We NEVER went without. our parents made damn sure of that.School clothes shopping at KINGS or Sears and Robuck.So excited to try on our new outfits and show Daddy.We didnt have cells phones. Hell we had a party line with our house phone!! (how many of you remember that?) ;-) 1 ring was for... 2 rings was for.. and 3 rings was for??.....yes sir eeeee. that stuff lives in my mind. i dont forget and i actually cherish it. If we dont remember and remind.... it will be lost.. and that would brake my heart.So tell the storys over and over. make them turn red with embarrassment.(0o0o0 kids relax soon enough itll be your turn!) Think back... and make more happiness..
