I keep reading people typing stupid things like The answer is simple: dont travel to Syria without expecting to be killed and why would anyone in their right mind go to Syria?.... There are women, children and men who desperately need aid there. When people like Alan Henning have gone to such places, they dont just pack their bags and go because they see it as a holiday abroad. They go because they have found the courage and the humanity to go and do for those, who are seriously in need, the things that the rest of us lack the courage and humanity to do.
