I keep seeing this video and news story of a woman named Janelle Ambrosia all in my news feed..talking about racism is alive and well.. Not sure why everyone is upset with this woman going HAM on this brother who is filming her... How many discussions have weve had over the years with folks ranging from scholars like Michael Dyson on down to popular rap artists meticulously explaining there is nothing wrong with the N word? When folks complained about it being used excessively in records, on air by deejays on popular radio stations and increasingly used by folks who are not Black, weve heard all sorts of rationale about how this is a a term of endearment, reflects the streets and is rooted in freedom of speech etc.. We also been told we have bigger fish to fry.. They say now the womans ex husband upon seeing this rant wants to take away her kids and folks are cheering.. Wow really? Sheeeeet they better not call on me because Im gonna tell them what yall say when we used to complain.. the woman did nothing wrong..She was expressing a term of endearment to that brother filming her.. That woman in video is Never Ignorant Getting Goals Accomplished!! ...
