I knew I was in Aba when a keke napep driver almost run me down, - TopicsExpress

I knew I was in Aba when a keke napep driver almost run me down, cursing heatedly at the same time as if I suddenly appeared before him, I was almost swallowing that when a black agboro brushed his rough fingers across my skin, bia fine gal, na me ya dey find? I swung my hand to shove him away, praying at the same time he didnt have the notorious EVD. I had learnt from my long stay in Aba not to spend time arguing with touts, it was just like fighting with a mad woman- while they lose nothing, you lose everything. Im home now and I try to eat away my hate for the bad roads and uncouth languages. One day I will write a story whose setting is in the centre of Aba-ngwa. Im not very proud of the village-city but I owe it my gratitude. The knowledge and whatever makes me precious came from this dirty Aba-ngwa. I appreciate the crude wisdom every nwa-Aba has but not so much as to want to raise my children here.... Vivi le Aba-ngwa.
