I know Christy. She didnt mention high school. I served on that committee with her. I was part of the group, representing high school counselors, that net with the board of education. 1. The board could care less about our role because we are expendable. They had hard core faces and responses as if all that we were saying was complaints. 2. The union could care less fir high school counselors because it thinks we have it easier than elementary school. But it continues to take our monthly dyes with no recourse. 3. I stopped going to the meetings because it was a wasted sacrifice. It occurs at the Merchandise Mart starting at 4 p.m. Id rather spend that time assisting the elders in my family. At least they enjoy hearing how my day went as I drive them to get some Andys Custard ....my new VICE. ..
