I know, I already posted slow mo snow. But this is my favorite snow. Its not the glitter snow that comes later, although that is a close second. Its not the tiny, hard little sandstorm snow that while more convenient, it isnt slick or sticky and doesnt cling to the roadway. Instead its fat, dancing flakes of snow that spin, whirl, glide, hover and sometimes float on their way down. It looks like a ballet of fairies almost. Practically speaking, its a bit of a nightmare. But its unspeakably gorgeous. It will leave a fluffy base of soft, snowy white. And in a few days when its colder, all that soft, billowy cotton of snow will be covered in a sea of tiny diamonds. I may not have been ready for a foot of snow when I had projects to do, I may be dreading a long, snowy winter, but I would be a fool not to appreciate such unspeakable beauty when it falls literally in my lap (ok, only sometimes in my lap, its cold! But I go outside as often as I can because how could I not?).
