I know I am a geek but this made me smile tonight! I have 2 black birds that live in the trees/bushes at the side of my house. Over the last few weeks they have been fighting off some magpies who have been trying to steal their nest. Every time I hear them tweeting like crazy I go outside and try and scare the magpies off. I was worried that the black birds had already laid eggs and the magpies had eaten the chicks. But tonight I saw one of blackbirds fly into their nest so I put my GoPo camera on the end of a stick to see if there was anything in the nest and was surprised and happy to see 3 blue eggs in the nest! I will be keeping my ears and eyes open even more now to keep the thieving magpies away!!!
