I know I am a tender hearted, naïve, and easy target for the people in the world who are in need, but I do not apologize that I am this way. I pay taxes like everyone, I am still employed and absolutely have no regrets if my taxes go to help out vets, help the handicapped, help educate our children, support our military (but not the never-ending wars in countries that will never stop being the way they are and living in a constant state of hate). I do detest my taxes going to the rich, the tax breaks for the rich, the loop holes for the rich. I would rather help children than greedy rich CEOs in businesses, I would rather help the elderly than the able bodied drug addicts, I would rather support our schools and student loans than help buy another vacation for a congressman. but until people wake up to the horrendous waste that flows through DC like sewage, I will dream of helping children who need asylum, I will dream of the government demanding these countries care for their own children and keep them safe. our world and the people in it are capable of doing good if they can fight the graft and greed and lunatics who feel they can invade a womans body by refusing medical and pharmaceutical needs, because of religious beliefs of single groups (and in the hobby lobby case, a single family). I do not expect people to agree with me, and I do not think it is my place to tell others their opinion is wrong, that is what America is supposed to represent.
