I know I complain about little stuff some days. I guess the reason is that it adds up to one big mess. A bunch of little bad things can ruin an whole day or week. Sometimes it only takes one good thing to fix it all. It is hard for everyone. There are so many reasons for us to be stressed and not enough out there that can make it all better. It is hard to remember to ground ourselves in our faiths or the small things we do to relax. A cup of tea, a can of beer, a good song, a quiet moment outside, the kids sleeping and the breath of relief and contentment. that moment the person you have been waiting to see all day finally comes home. Or that awesome friend calls, good times. Small little wonders and precious moments. They are short, and they are very few. But just as all the little bad things add up, so can all the little good things. If we can just find them.
