I know I don’t typically do the political rant. And don’t - TopicsExpress

I know I don’t typically do the political rant. And don’t worry-this isn’t. There’s no need to bash the past or what you cannot provide a solution for…. Obama reminds me so much of a college professor that once confused a hypotenuse-with a hypothesis. So seeing as I’d prefer my president (and professor) to know the difference between geometry and educated guesses. I am seeking out just who these presidential hopefuls are for 2016. Before I even breakdown and conduct a three year investigation on these guys, one must first prioritize national concerns. My priorities are my daughter, myself, and my wallet. Number one – Civil Rights – I’ve got rights! Gay’s have rights! the poor have rights! Minorities have rights! I need a presidential nominee who has strength in protecting my security and rights. Listen I don’t know how to shoot a water guy, much less, a pistol. But situations change, and as a single mother, you better believe I’m bound and determinded to have the education and knowledge to be packin’. Period! Yes, I have a daughter- which is even more so why I need to be able to provide a secure home. But I live in a South Florida county where crime is a huge factor- even in the safe communities. And I want to be sure anyone dumb enough to force their way into my home won’t be making it out on two legs. Equality among Marriage- Continuation of Civil Rights Here’s the deal, I am as straight as they come. I respect those who are gay or have partners. BUT, If you are still convinced that this issues has not been solved because America believes marriage is to be held between a man and woman for the sanctity of marriage. YOU-ARE-WRONG TURN OFF THE TELEVISION. (Wait just a second before you start with your Bible ) . Dear America – Marriage is not legal between two men or two women because only 25% of gay marriages/couples choose to have children of their own. Less procreating means less taxpayers down the road. Look at the reality of it! In 2010 ( three years ago. There were 35.2 MILLION househoulds with kids. That’s a big number. Especially when you determine that in 2010, there were only approximately 646,464 gay couples in the U.S. (of them only 131,729 were considered *married). Of these couples, only ¼ of them will ever adopt or start a family of their own. What really infuriates me about this is that the government and media go all out to display this as a bigger moral issue than anything else. Personally, I need a prospective president who sets aside the budget, and doesn’t try to pull this moral or “sanctitiy of marriage bologna (Seriously the divorce rate for first time marriages is above 40%, and for second marriages is something like 60%). A president who does exactly what our founding fathers intended and sets aside the Church and thinks for the State. Numero Dos - Taxes. Let’s talk about Lucy. She’s a Single Female in the United States who works for a company and earns a monthly income of $1,600 per month. $1,600 - income -6.2% social security -1.45% medicare -15% federal income tax -$100 – corporate policy health insurance Lucy spends $462.4 in monthly healthcare and tax expenses (28.9% of earned wages) of this $1,137.60 that she brings home, 30% of it she spends on an apartment ($341.28), She owns a Honda accord and spends $50 per week to fill up her care. Then, an additional 30% of her wages on other necessities (phone, grocery, etc.) $341.28 (of which 6% is tax). At the end of the year, Lucy has made a $2,100.48 profit. Now… Lucy’s cousin-Isaac is an Israeli citizen and has a job with equal earnings… However, taxes are a little different. $1,600 - income -10% income tax -3.5% Social Security (NATIONAL INSURANCE) Isaac spends $216 in monthly healthcare and tax expenses (13.5% of earned wages) of his $1,384 that he brings home, 30% of it she spends on an apartment ($415.20), He owns a Chevy Cruze and spends $55.46 per week to fill up his car . Plus, an additional 30 percent of his wages is spent on other necessities (phone, grocery, etc.) $460.54 (of which 18% is tax). At the end of the year, Isaac has made a $3,437.04 profit. Wait… WHAT??????? You’re telling me a country who is paying THREE TIMES our sales tax is actually taking home more than America! Yes, sir. What are the two primary variables that make a difference? Social security that is not only at a lower rate, BUT actually provides- not some pot of gold if ya make it over the rainbow. And increase in sales tax “But April! You can’t do that! I need my McDonald’s 99 cent value menu!!” These sales taxes, and corporate taxes limit the amount of large scale corporations in Israel, opening up doors for smaller businesses. So what’s the hold up? GREED & IMMIGRATION.
