I know I have posted this video several times but the public needs to be reminded that the fate of "The Troy Birds" aka "The Brauer 10" is still very much in jeopardy after 2 years of waiting on the courts . We are their voice and will not be silenced until they are free of any possiblities of being returned to the monstrous human ( Doug Ratcliff) whose horrific abuse and neglect caused the death of many of their flockmates. As there is still an ongoing Lawsuit for the Troy Birds now AKA “The Brauer 10” we are getting close to a Trial Date of October 3 & 4, 2013. With that being said this Trial will cost in effect an amount of another $20,000 Dollars. If we do not follow through Doug Ratcliff will win by... default. We cannot go on this long and allow him a chance at getting these birds back. This cannot not be done without your help. The Birds are now safe in foster care at an undisclosed location, and we would like them to remain there permanently. In an effort for the raising of funds, we have something a little different in store. It’s called the “Bald for the Brauer 10” Campaign. The deal here is simple for a certain amount raised one will be Going Bald for each amount raised. There are 3 men doing this, Gaston Herndon, wild go Bald for $2500.00. Bob Kaegi will shave his moustache and head for the grand amount 0f $5000.00 Dollars. Now for the Big One. Dayton South Vet. Clinic Technician Jim Tinnell will shave his moustache for $15.000 dollars for $20.000 Dollars he will go Bald. Now for those who don’t know, Jim has had that same hairstyle since the 60’s. So this will be new for him, and a shock to all of his friends. We will be growing out our hair, and if we meet all the goals, we will be meeting and having our heads shaved together for the event to be photographed, and videotaped, then have it posted on the Brauer 10 page. This is not only to raise the funds, but to show our Solidarity for One of our Favorite Troy Birds aka (Brauer 10) Howie. He is a Favorite to many of us, even though we love them all. Bob Kaegi will be wearing a T-Shirt at the 2 day trial stating “Bald for the Brauer 10”, and on the back” I support Howie” with Howie’s picture on the front. Thousands have already been spent, and MVBC&R members and Dr. Brauer have stepped up to save these birds. Questions can be answered on the Brauer 10 Face book page.
