I know I keep going on about it..but Im excited!! Putting out Sage Francis & warrenpeace on my tiny little label is nuts. Its weird as, when doing your OWN music, you cant detach enough to know if this is a record you would buy (if you werent you...). I mean, YOU have made it, so of course you would right?! Its catered directly to your tastes. But it makes it a different feeling. When its music by others that you know, regardless of the label, you would DEFINITELY be spending your hard earned money on...well its just amazing. Infact, it may sound weird, but everything I have released on my label... I have ordered copies of myself (partly to make sure the distro people are doing a good, quick, smooth job and partly because I have a weird thing about attaching value to things you love by actually paying for them). If you havent already I would like to strongly urge you to support independent music by ordering Copper Gone and SDR007 from the webstore at scroobiuspip.co.uk now. I mean, feel free to buy a Speech Development tee while youre there too... ;)
