I know I may catch some crap for what Im about to post but here it goes. First let me say it was horrible about the police trooper being killed and one hurt in the ambush attack and the family has lost a great deal. Now as bad as that was I dont think it is right that they make such a large public effort that they are. If I were killed the same way there would not be the same effort made to catch the person responsible. I do understand its a bit bigger deal with the position the victims were in but still. They would not have road blocks, multi governmental agencies, and vast resources deployed for a common citizen. I know that they have stated this is most likely a planned singled out attack and not great danger to the community. I understand the FBI involvement but the exaggerated police presence from multi state and government agencies is a bit lopsided. Sorry if some are upset by this post just my personal opinion.
