I know Im not supposed to weigh myself during the Whole30 and weight is not the true indicator of health, etc., but I cant help myself right now. In just a week of being on the Whole30, Ive lost 4 pounds. And thats while eating 2000-2700 calories a day so theres no deprivation here. I had some reflux yesterday from the lime juice in the marinade on my chili lime chicken but other than that and the desire to kill all things (withdrawals/irritability), Ive felt physically great. Im just amazed that it really has been something Im eating thats kept me from losing weight, whether it was one or all of the things Im avoiding in the Whole30. Ive lost 10.2 pounds now since January. It took me 7 months to lose the first 6 and a week to lose the remaining 4. So crazy. It gives me a whole new perspective on how I need to eat going beyond the 30 days Im doing this.
