I know WE are a creative people, but this morning I realized just how deep it really is. Im walking the pooch, and this lady I see frequently walking her two over-sized rats is out too. We exchange pleasantries and she remarks on how big Zeus is getting, then asks his name. I tell her and she looks confused, then asks if hes named after someone. I start to explain the Greek God mythology connection, then just shake my head at her continued look of confusion and tell her my daughter has named every dog weve had. Thats when she beamed at me proudly and let me know that her two little darlings are named...wait for it...yes, Quantavius and DeAnte. *heavy sigh* She said she always wanted to name her sons that, but she only has girls. I looked at her dogs and thought, their names weigh more than the actual dogs, but I told her I needed a drink, wished her a good morning and hurried on home. Gotta love my people. Pull out your boots and put those tank tops up, Atliens! Its gonna be a nice, chilly weekend Happy Friday, fb!
