I know bullying at school is in the news lately and rightly so. Children can be affected for life on what cruel things people say to them at School. I remember when I was in 1st class and a nun said to me in front if the class, Neville you are nothing but a spineless jelly blubber. This was because I was crying in a spelling Bee and I could not spell mother. She then caned me with a feather duster infront of the class every time I got it wrong. I never forget that. Many years later I was a 4th yr plumbing apprentice and I ran into her in a hallway at St Josephs and she stared at me and said Neville Reid. The hairs stood up on my neck. I could nt stop shaking acknowledged her and left. Thats bullying for you.
