I know it is late but I would not feel like my day was over unless I post to my FB family. Grayson had a good therapy session today and seems to be stronger every day but he seemed a little down tonight. He is starting to feel like a burden to me because I have to help him with day to day things and he sees how tired I am. He is also feeling guilty because harvest season is upon us and he knows Wayne needs him badly in the farming operation but he is not quite able. He is tired of the daily struggle and frustrated because he is not back to normal yet. I have assured him that we can see, and the therapists see too, that he is getting better every day. We also told him that we will all get through this together with the help of our family and friends and several months from now, he will be rolling! I also told him that he is NOT a burden!!! I am more than blessed to have him here with us and that the alternative would have been unbearable for me so I told him we will all stand tough because we are GWKstrong and that is the way we roll!! As much trouble as we had with the wound vac over the weekend, when his wound care specialist, Yvonne, changed it today, his leg looks great! The deep tunnel has filled in immensely since last week and we were thrilled. Grayson is feeling better about that because, deep down he was worried about loosing his leg. Yvonne assured him that would not happen. Tomorrow he is planning on riding with Casey around to some of the fields that we farm and help him check for worms. This is the time of year that worms get in the soybeans and they can destroy the crop within days if not caught in time. I think this will be good for G. He can get out and help with something that is very important. Casey will be driving him and walking through the fields and swiping the beans with the net, G will be very helpful in identifying the type of worms that are in each field. That will determine what chemicals the crop duster will spray. Now that you have all had a lesson on worms, lol, I think I must get to bed. I hope most of you are already there and resting well. Please pray for Graysons spirits to be lifted and that he will realize how important he is to us. God has brought him so far and he must not loose hope now!!!! Also please remember to pray for the others on this page. There are so many out there needing our help and we know what prayer can do. Good night to all and forever we will remain #GWKstrong!!!!!
