I know it is odd thinking about Xmas when the temperatures are so high but traditionally this is the planning season for Xmas ( if you are MAD ENOUGH to be in the catering trade). Balancing Xmases in Scotland - or flying my father here - when I was caring for my him and my mum and the mayhem of running the pub it must be about 15 years since the Gaires had a proper at home Xmas. We have already turned down work for Xmas Eve, Xmas day and Boxing Day. This year has to be special I think we may have earned it!!
