I know its Christmas ( and my birthday) tomorrow, but Ive already had the best Christmas and birthday present ever. Ros had also managed to do this the other day but I didnt see it for myself - in the gym this afternoon and with help from the physios, Ros managed to stand up, was very stable and had only very little support from one of the physios. Ill repeat that- ROS WAS ABLE TO STAND UP!! After all weve been through the last five months it was absolutely incredible to see this. It took an immense effort on Ros part to get upright but with typical determination she managed it. Understandably Ros was very pleased with herself, and rightly so and I must admit it brought tears to my eyes as well. Both Ros and I know its still going to take a lot more strength and determination to walk again but with the help of everyone around her, I know Ros will give it her best shot. So proud of my wonderful wife!!! Im certainly going to enjoy my Christmas more now and hope that each and every one of you have a brilliant Christmas and a fantastic new year!!
