I know most of my Reformed brothers and sisters will not be interested in this, but I am somewhat dispensational in my eschatology, and do expect a false messiah to lead a one-world religion from a temple in Jerusalem. When you learn what the Jews believe about this, you can see how easily they will fall for this false messiah. As a Christian, I believe Jesus rebuilt the Temple with living stones (the Church, His body of believers), as Scripture teaches. In Revelation, it speaks of those who claim to be Jews but are of the Synagogue of Satan. Its all coming together. The world is clamoring for peace and safety, unity and community, signs of the nearness of His coming.
