I know most of you wont read this or even care but anyways, it breaks my heart. Todays adventures were great and I wont go into great details. No kid is perfect, normal or greater then any other, but some kids are more respectful then others and put others before themselves. Im not going to give personal information about, but I have to put this out. Matthew, my brother, Connor, his friend and myself. Connor is only in year 5 and my brother in year 6, but the bond is great. Living right across the road from each other helps, but cConnor is not always free. This kid gos out of his way for everyone, an 11 year old kid, with an enormous heart. He cleans the house, helps his mum, sister, dad, around the yard and even friends. Today Connor visited my brother for the day. We all went on a bush walk, go carting down the driveway and just being kids. Just one thing isnt fair.... Connors eye sight is ever so poor, one of hes eyes is blind the other, is blurry and hard to see from. Although hes glasses help, something shocked my family. Connor was inside our house and tuned out, took a few steps forward and went into shock. He fell to the ground and yelled, I cant see, my eyes arent working. Instantly Connor built up a sweat and turned white, while dad kept talking to him holding his hands saying it was going to be alright, I sat there wondering if it was. Connor wasnt responding and was just staring off into the distance, not able stand up, nor speak. Mum came out and cleaned him up with a damp face washer. Luckily Connors mum arrived and he was all good. Later tonight dad came up and said to me, with tears in his eyes, Thst kid is special and has a big heart. Today when he bought hes cart over, he said to me I didnt want to buy this, I built it myself. I turned to him and said Id help him fix it up and he refused, so I turned and said Ill build one for you then, out of my way because you arent like most kids, you refused for me to help you. When I was with Connor I held him like he was my own child, he doesnt deserve the bad eyes hes got. By the time dad finished I had teared up with drops falling into my hand, dad by myside, crying too, saying, Ill give that cart my best shot. :( love you Connor your a spirited kid xx
