I know most of your news feeds have been blowing up with my school stats for awhile now, but there is much to be celebrated- that you wont have to see those anymore because I have completed my degree! Those close to me know it was very frustrating at times, it was a lot of long evenings in front of a computer or weekends locked in studying, but there were a lot of wonderful people supporting me the entire way through. Thank you to my parents for constant support, all the time- even taking bug so I could study or always allowing me to see silver linings. To all my family, especially Shawn, for being cheerleaders and sending me love and support. Thank you to my friends that were there through the stories or high-fived me when I needed it. Thank you to my supervising teachers, Yvette Skaggs Martin and Carrie Ann Gary who both gave me the most fantastic semester of student teaching imaginable, and thanks to my students and their families for ultimately guiding me as I have been trying and learning to guide others. UC and most of my professors and advisers were super too!! Now the job hunt begins. ;) Congrats to all you other December grads, too!
