I know not a lot of people have asked questions, so here is a little FAQ sheet for a little more info that may help you understand the wraps a little more: Jamberry Nails Frequently Asked Questions 1) Are Jamberry Nail Shields stickers, like Sally Hansen’s Salon Effects? No, Jamberry Nail Shields are not stickers nor are they are made of nail polish! Jamberry’s are made of a very thin vinyl that has a non-toxic adhesive on the back. This special material is both heat and pressure activated to create a watertight bond. Real nail polish stickers, like Sally Hansen’s, chip, peel, and crack. Also, they are one time use only – once you open the package you must use them immediately, otherwise they will dry out. Jamberry’s will not dry out! 2) Will they damage your nails? No! As long as you follow one of our removal processes, Jam’s will not damage your nails! Quick Removal Process: Heat the shields with a blow dryer for 15 seconds. Then break the seal by getting under the edge of the shield with your opposite thumb nail. Slowly peel the shield from side to side. If the Nail Shields are not peeling easily or the adhesive is still bonded to the nail bed then follow the Gentle Removal Process. Gentle Removal Process: Soak the Nail Shields in nail polish remover for 15-30 seconds and gently rub them off. Soaking will break down the adhesive bond and allow them to easily slide of the nail bed. 3) How long do Jam’s last? Jamberry’s last for approximately 2 weeks on fingers and 6-8 weeks on toes! 4) Are Jamberry’s safe for children? Jam’s are 100% safe for kids to wear! They are non-toxic and even vegan! 5) How much does each sheet cost? Each sheet is $15 and has 2-4 manicures. While the Nails Application Kit conveniently gives you everything in one shot, you most certainly can use Jamberry’s without it! 7) Can I use the shields on acrylic / gel / shellac nails?
