I know plenty of wordsmiths, so I ask you - is there a term for when a person gathers all of the loose mucous and phlegm in their sinuses seemingly with their core muscles in preparation of hawking it on the sidewalk? I always wondered if a verb existed for that. Because some guy just did that while walking by me. To his credit, he delayed firing but there was no need for the dirty look he gave me. Youre mad at your conscience, sir, not at me. But a sincere thanks for sensing that I dont have the constitution or strength to deal with a strangers sinus projectile at this juncture.
