I know some of lovely FB Friends are wondering how I think about Son Of God. I did like it. There were some stuff that was bit elaborated and fluffed up from the bible itself but that is with any movie. It is 2 1/2 hour movie so it is really long. I suggest going on a Friday, Saturday night, or a late afternoon show, if you want to see this. *Spoiler Alert* It is based off the gospel of John. This only criticism I have of this movie itself, I felt like I was watching a Made for TV movie. Nothing against the film itself. I dont know if it is because Roma Downey was in it and was directed by Mark Burnett and Roma Downey and both being christian TV actors. They are both great by the way. I think this is a great conversion tool. Great way to evangelize people or help people who have fallen away come back to the church.
