I know some were expecting a huge announcement tonight from us in some form or another. But the post that you saw on Saturday night was never intended to see the light of day. It was a first draft and meant to be edited down to something that wouldnt potentially get peoples hopes up or mislead them in any form. My accounts were hacked on Saturday (gmail, Facebook, Twitter and my retirement fund, which was cleaned out *sigh*). During the course of that, the post/tweets that were never supposed to be released got pushed out when I got locked out of my accounts and had them ultimately reset. This post was the big announcement. We wanted to make sure that guys like Jamal Crawford, Isaiah Thomas, Jeff Green, Tony Wroten, Spencer Hawes, Ray Allen and Kevin Durant knew we loved them and supported them. They are our own by either birth or adoption. Lets get everyone together than we know and for the next 64 days vote our butts off, make our voices heard nationally and get our guys into the 2014 NBA All-Star Game. Again, Im sorry for the confusion and possible misleading. If youd like to yell at me for getting your hopes up, feel free to do so.
