I know that coming soon listings have been discussed to death but do you think its appropriate for a Board of Realtors to force agents doing them to present this form to the sellers. I think there is a time and a place that it makes sense to not put the listing in the MLS, for example (seller is replacing carpet, having painting done, etc) before showings. What value is it to anyone to have the listing in the MLS without showings being allowed. We as agents are just going to field more calls from our IDX feeds for listings we cannot show. Thoughts?
