I know that, for some, it may be a little early for Christmas music....but for me....January is not too early. I just love it. For me, the songs of Christmas represent a time of peace, love and good will towards our fellow man.....all of which speak clearly to my heart....and the traditional Christian Christmas songs such as this one, touch a place deep in my soul, as they bring praise to the most high. I have enjoyed many solo versions of this song throughout the years, but there is just something about a choir singing it that thrusts me back in time to the cold Christmas Eve nights of my youth, when I would lie in bed with hurried anticipation for the morning to come and listen to Christmas songs playings on my little Zenith transistor radio until my eyes would get too heavy to keep open.
