I know that many of you are in great pain. Many of you are struggling to claw your way out of that deep, dark pit of despair we have come to call grief. I have been there. Not once. Not twice. But three times. There is hope. There is a way out. But in the end. It is up to you. You must take the first step. I can throw you a life jacket. But you must extend your arms and reach for it. Other people can lovingly and generously share their own stories of resurrection and hope and new life, as the do on this Facebook page every day. But we can not do it for you. We can accompany you. At times we can carry you. But you are the one who puts one foot in front of the other. One tiny step at first. Followed by another tiny step. And another. Over the years, I have created many, many tools with the intention of sharing with you everything I have learned about doing grief a "new way." On my YouTube channel, you will find many free videos that you can watch over and over again. Videos that share parts of my story, but more importantly, provide you with concrete, doable steps you can take to bring about your own healing. I can provide the videos. But you must watch them. At my website ~ TomZuba ~ there are many different blogs addressing many different dimensions of the grief experience. Look through the titles. What jumps out at you? Read it. Think about it. Feel it. Again, I can write the article. But you must read them. And take full advantage of all the incredible wisdom freely shared on this Facebook page. Scroll down. Read past posts. From a week ago. A month ago. A year ago. Read the comments. I can throw the life jacket. Which I do every day. You must extend your arms and reach for healing and new life.
