I know that this medical tragedy has taken its toll ...seems I cry a lot when I think about Jeff. He is in such pain, and is so lost , scared and frightened, and it angers and saddens me that I cannot take away any of that to save him from what he is going through. I know I am reaching here, but I find myself coming home alone from the hospital, and all I have is 4 silent walls,,so silent I hear the clocks tick tick tick ticking away, and reminding me that those special moments are ones that I shall never have with Jeff. I am to bring him home tomorrow if all goes well tonight, and although I am afraid he wont be ready to leave, I so , want him home,,,,I would quit my job and give up everything just to take care of him. When I took up a lap quilt made by Lisa Forsberg and covered him with it, he clutched it and wept so hard. Lets hope for the best shall we? I do want to thank EVERYONE for their prayers and good wishes...we are truly blessed..
