I know that we need the rain, but my poor babies had to go potty and now they look like drowned rats. I want to let everyone that has a puppy that at the age of 12 weeks, your puppy will go through a week of of being afraid of everything, even things that they are comfortable with now and between now and then. The best thing that you can do, is try not to introduce your puppy to anything new during that week. During their 12th week, carry lots of treats and every time you you see them going through this fear time, give them lots of treats, dont feel sorry for them or baby them, they will get through this week and be ok, just make it as happy for them as you can, since they love treats, it really helps during the 12th week, plus anytime they encounter new or uncomfortable times. If they relate all new things and encounters as a time they get lots of treats, they soon look forward to new things, because they know that they get good things (treats) during all new and uncomfortable events.
