I know there are a fair number of Protestants - Evangelicals, - TopicsExpress

I know there are a fair number of Protestants - Evangelicals, Charismatics, Non-Denominationalist, (FYI: youre a denomination), Seventh-day Adventists and even Southern Baptists on my friends list, and I am guessing this wont appear in any of your newsfeeds otherwise. I also know that many of the aforementioned sects are currently in the midst of establishing organizational policy around gender roles, identity, and orientation - whether their constituent members are aware of it or not. Question: is this how the Great Commission ought to be manifesting itself in the Latter Days - through regressive or status quo, exclusionary internal church policy that all but sanctions bigotry and discrimination? I chose my words deliberately and I am completely aware of the necessarily negative connotations that terms like regressive or exclusionary can bear. However, this isnt an inquiry into the semantics of inquiry, this is a pointed question regarding the nature and function of contemporary Protestant/christian denominations. Thats an open, and I realize VERY loaded, question - feel free to message me if you dont want to leave a comment. (Please note: this is not an opportunity get all #notallprotestants or #notallchristians or whatever.) #introspection #disappointed
