I know there are a lot of you out there that believe the flu shot - TopicsExpress

I know there are a lot of you out there that believe the flu shot actually gives you the flu. It does not. However, in some people you can have a minor reaction to it. I had my annual flu shot today, and for the very first time, I had some of these minor reaction symptoms: dizziness, weakness, feeling of trembling, and mood swing. I wonder what made this year different from all the previous years... bottom line, it says the symptoms can hit you 10min to 2hrs after injection, and can last up to 2 days. Mine hit me about 20min after give or take, thought I was having a sugar crash. Thankfully my symptoms went away relatively quickly....about half an hour or less. Things to keep in mind when receiving a vaccine that has never bothered you before.... I would much rather have had the more common minor reaction of soreness at the injection site that I normally have O.o
