I know theres a lot of boycott info going round, but Im finding it - TopicsExpress

I know theres a lot of boycott info going round, but Im finding it difficult to substantiate most with convincing facts, especially when it comes to consumer products. If we cant convince ourselves, how can we convince others? In order for a boycott to be effective it needs to be strategic, most of the lists going round ask us to boycott anything & everything without providing us with proof and facts. After doing some research, I decided to focus my boycott efforts on Ahava (Dead Sea Products), Sabra Hummus, Victoria Secret and of course Soda Stream. I hope you will all join me. For those of you in Dubai and other Arab countries, Victorias Secret has recently expanded to many of these countries - several VS stores in Dubai now - lets please boycott them! Here are some facts about Victorias Secret: - It gets its textiles from Delta Galil, Israels largest clothing manufacturer and stores them in the Barkan Industrial Zone, an Israeli Settlement in the West Bank and operates stores in Israeli Settlements. For those in the US these three companies are ones to target: - Sabra Hummus: Its owned by Strauss Group, an Israeli Company with strong ties to the IDF, and provides lunches to the Golani Brigade often claiming that it has adopted that brigade. - AHAVA: Ahavas main factory is based in Mitzpe Shalem, a settlement in the West Bank, but intentionally mislabels its products as Made in Israel. The mud used in its products is taken from a site on the shores of the Dead Sea inside internationally recognized occupied territory. The company is using and profiting from Palestinian natural resources without the permission of compensation. The company makes $150 million a year, while Israel denies Palestinians access to the Dead Sea and its resources. - SodaStream: Its drinks are produced in Maale Adumim, one of the largest settlements. 200 Palestinian families were originally expelled from their homes, so Maale Adumim could be built, and more are continuously forced out to make room for the settlements growth. I am boycotting SodaStream and its public face, Scarlet Johansson. I am trying to compile a comprehensive list, so send me anything you have - I am looking not only looking for names of companies, but facts backing the boycott calls. #GazaUnderAttack
