I know these tactics..very well accept the use of the dog. 80 percent of pullovers are out of state plates where the state troopers are concerned... Moneymaker..chances are you wont come back to the state to fight it. I was pulled over for not yielding to a emergency vehicle in Missouri...They had two trooper cars & no one was standing outside. Semi was in front of me. Trucker changed lanes & I was able to see them but couldnt get over because a car was next to me in the left lane. So I slowed up...not good enuf..pulled me over..Uses the exact same protocol described here accept no dog. Asked all the same questions. Made the same statements & asked the same questions...you seem nervous...your cartoid artery is pulsing..can we search your car ? This was way back in 2004. The part that I was so mad abt was how he wouldnt listen to my side..just shut me down..assumed I was guilty. That & the fact that 30 min. had gone by with at least 5 other cars doing exactly what he was accusing me of violating. They had room to move over but all had missouri plates.
