I know this is a breeders group, but I have a question about my 75g display tank. The water tests are always perfect and looking at it from the front, it looks great, but when you look from one end panel to the other it is a bit cloudy. I have an Ehiem Pro3 that is supposed to be good for tanks up to 92 gallons, I do a 30% water change once a week and vacuum in between to get up all the fish waste. When I do the big weekly water change I always change the short term canister filter pads. Today I changed the one that is supposed to be changed at 6 months. (I think the tank is 5 months old now). The tank is heavily stocked - 34 mbuna and 1 common plecostomus. The mbuna are all under 3. I feed them 4 times a day, what they can eat in less than a minute, probably 30 seconds most meals, because Ive heard frequently that multiple feeding can lower aggression and (knock on wood) I havent had any aggression problems at all. So, is it just the number of I have in there? Am I feeding too much? Could the filter not be big enough?
