I know this is exactly what my Facebook friends want to see! Not! Here is a closer look at Savvys abscess as its rupturing. Savvy looks a lot better on the lunge line! He is a lot sounder than he was days ago. Lots of puss and blood are continuing to come out of his hoof but at least he is feeling a lot better. Savvy needs some prayers so that he gets better soon. He is still going outside and has been a great patient while Ive been soaking his foot twice daily as well as wrapping his foot and putting him on the Theraplate. I really hope this problem gets resolved soon. Luckily the blood and pus and injuries in general dont gross me out, but it would nice to be able to relax and knows that he is ok. Its so hard to stay positive when Im here alone dealing with unexpected problems. The farrier is visiting again tomorrow. Will he ever get better?
