I know this one is extreme BUT we shut off cable and tv a couple weeks ago and limit game time ... one of the best decisions Ive ever made!! The entire household is interacting on a whole different level. Kids dont stay in room, were in deep conversations often (even with my 9 y/o), only time we retreat alone is to read, everyone is working out, kids havent argued and are together for hours in conversation cracking up in laughter. Ive noticed a definate increase in their focus. They havent complained once about it! Just wanted to share!
