I know we have a lot of local real estate agents on the forum. I just received this from my board in NB. A known squatter has targeted HB, info below. There is a photo, however for some reason it didnt come across. Her name is stated, tho. Beware! URGENT RED ALERT! Known Squatter May Re-Attempt If you have seen or had contact with the above individual, you are urged to contact Huntington Beach Police Department, Detective Burton, (714) 960-8825. Case # 15-225 The Association office received the below email from a member, Patrick Knapp, regarding a crime dealing with a squatter. I wanted you to be aware of a squatter that is stalking vacant listed properties, and getting realtors to show here vacant homes, and then moving into the property because she leaves a window or door unlocked when the agent isnt looking. She did it to my listing at 4621 Los Patos Ave, Huntington Beach. She had Jon Slear from Coldwell Banker show her the listing, and then must have left a door or window open. She then had her moving pod dropped in the driveway and moved in another day. The Huntington Beach Police arrested her, but said due to the new law all they do is ticket her and release her in four hours. We got all her possession out of our property, but the HBPD said its just a matter of time before she strikes again. They said this is not the first property she has done it too. Her name is Shannon Leeandra Armond, age 43 ( I have included a copy of her drivers license so you will have her stats). Again, she will come to agents open houses and ask them to show her vacant homes. She will then say she is writing a full price offer and that the prophet Yahweh has said the property is hers now. If you would like to contact the HBPD there number is 714-960-8825. They have a report on the situation. I even found and old supra key in her items that she obviously stole from an agent. (the supra key number on the back is 17068). Again she looks for vacant homes and even checks if the owners are out of state. I would be a good idea for you to notify OCAR also to make sure their agents are aware also. Please feel free to call me with any questions or if I can help. Respectfully, Patrick Knapp Again, please be sure if youve had any interaction or are being contacted by the above individual to contact the HBPD immediately at (714) 960-8825. Case #15-225.
