I landed in Hong Kong for two weeks of work being an OFCW (Overseas Filipino Canadian Worker)… There are a lot of Filipinas who work overseas here in the big city! Many of them work hard six days a week doing various jobs from taking care of families, to staffing shops, to playing music… If you have walked around Hong Kong on a Sunday you will notice something… There are a lot of Filipinas who hang out! They basically take over the entire area of Central in the city! Prior to meeting Filipinos and spending time in the Philippines I didnt really understand why they would all be hanging out!? Well then I came to realize it was to take a well deserved day off… and to share some Filipino Happiness with one and other! From eating Filipino food, to dancing Filipino dances, to smiling, laughing, apiring and just enjoying life… This is my Sunday in Central with a group of Filipina OFWs! It is all about Happiness!
