I laugh at myself quite often when I open up my timeline to read comments and discover some really blatant grammatical error that I made in the original post. LOL! ;-) I edit it, of course! Then I start wondering about these different modes of me that seem to present themselves from time to time. I have the Mississippi southern me, who slips back into the dialects of my youth when conversing with my moms side of the family. I have the hanging out on the back porch with old friends me, who rolls with the conversation and doesnt worry about the details of grammar. There is also the teacher me, who wants to be sure the nuances of the post content is absorbed by the reader in the most effective way. Then there is the professional me, who places emphasis on the integrity and quality of my service to others. Ha! Its funny how each of these modes of me even has a different perspective on each of the other mes. We all do this to some extent. Ask yourself how many modes of you there are. It doesnt mean you have a split personality. It only means that you have a diverse, flexible, open, and adaptable personality. Isnt psychology fascinating?!
