I learned a lesson recently that I would like to share. Over a month ago, someone who truly touched my life, left this world. She not only changed my life, but saved it, and gave it purpose. She was my friend, my teacher, my confidant, and I loved her very much. I missed out on the chance to tell her face to face how much she meant to me, and I had a couple of chances to do so. It would have seriously inconvenienced others, and possibly even pissed them off, but in hindsight, I wish I had. It was far more important to me than their anger, but I thought I had time, I thought I would have another chance. I was wrong. Now, I will never forgive myself for those wasted chances. I, of all people should know better. NEVER assume you have time, because time will always run away with you, until the day you run out.
