I learned some important stuff this year through experience. One thing is that I shouldnt feel bad if I seem like an asshole since I only seem that way to people who take life too seriously. Another thing is people will say they believe in you but they dont truly support you until youve already made something of yourself. A third thing is everybody has their own definitions of friendship and youll never have true friendship if you apply your standard of friendship to other people. Basically you gotta accept people and love people exactly the way they were when you met them and appreciate that thats how they are or cut them off or limit your time with them accordingly. They cant expect you to change in the same way you dont expect them to and thats the only common ground we should agrre to share as people sharing this place.
