I learned this the hard way. When Natalie was pretty young (she is 28 now... dont tell her I told you that), she asked me why I was always so angry at her. That hit me like a 2 by 4! And although I had other reasons for my anger that would have been considered understandable by most, they were not understood by a child who just wanted her Mama. God turned my attitude around from judgement to grace and I saw my kids as gifts from that point on (although I still made plenty of mistakes). I share all this to encourage young moms to look at life and others (and even yourself) through Gods perspective and give them the grace that He has given you. Life will be much less stressful for you and those you love. Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice. Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:4-7)
