I learned today that a student I had in Cochrane passed away doing what he loved, riding broncs. Ben Stieger, a young bronc rider with a love for the sport and a lot of try in his heart was at another school in Thorby when the accident occurred. My heart breaks for his family, the school, and all his close friends. Its always a fear of instructors that this might happen each and every time we do a school and we pray that our Lord will watch over all the students while they pursue a sport that is extremely dangerous. Ben was doing what he loved as all of us have. My deepest condolences and sole felt sympathy goes out to all his loved ones tonight.
