I learnt a lot from my uncle in the time that I worked for him in regards to work ethic and accountability, to self and to others. His favourite saying dont give me excuses, give me solutions highlighted for me a constant issue we have as people. A recurring need to give reasoning behind ones failure placing the onus on external factors, rather than accepting fault and finding a way to succeed regardless of the obstruction... And in that, I also learnt that when you do the latter, you wont need to provide excuses as you will be successful at the task no matter what. If you really want it bad enough, you will find a way. If not, you will find an excuse.
