I left a pair of earplugs in my back pocket while going through airport security and the scanner insisted I needed a pat down. The TSA agent tells me he going to firmly skim my buttocks with the back of his hand. I said; Well, enjoy that! at which he became furious and barked out something about emptying my pockets properly, screwing with the TSA, and if I thought he loved pat downs. I let the look of amused shock on my face answer his tirade before calmly asking if we were done here. He told me he needed to swab-sample my hands (for some reason), and once it came back clear, he just points generally towards the gates. Damn, someone needs a hug! (and maybe a different job!)
