I, like many others in the country, I been watching the coverage of the shooting of the unarmed man in Missouri. One of my biggest concerns is why everyone keeps saying that he was unarmed when he was shot and the cop should be arrested. I have yet to hear any law enforcement deny Brown was unarmed. So what makes people think that an unarmed man cant hurt or kill you? The focus should be on if the shooting was justified. Life isnt a 2 hour TV event it takes time to get to the truth. Isnt that what we all want, the truth to come out and justice to be served. Justice cant be only if there is an arrest or indictment. Justice is only achieved when the facts are shown against the light of the rule of law. Think of it this way, if someone breaks into your house tonight. You find them in your childs room, are you waiting to see if the are armed before you take action? I dont know what happened Missouri. I was not there when it happened. The facts will come out and IF the officer broke the law he will pay for it.
