I like the loud/busy bars with my friends, but it doesnt beat the hole in the wall local bar that I grew up in. The same bar that my whole family gets together at every year for a Christmas drink or the same bar that I spent endless hours having pops with my Dad and Uncle after loading a trailer of straw. Where the bartender has known me since I was born, they play the good old country music, and they have the same seats that my Grandpa used to sit in that I unfortunately never got the opportunity to sit in with him. Its not trendy or flashy or the hot spot, but none of that stuff matters to us. The Hy-Flash is a family tradition and in the words of the great Toby Keith, I love this bar.
